Entrepreneur and Leader
Dr. Vasavvi has been working in the domain of Early Childhood Education for the past two decades. She hails from Guwahati, Assam the gateway to the scenic North East of India, and is an alumnusof Miranda House, Delhi University. Dr. Vasavvi is an early starter, after coming back to her hometown to do something meaningful for her people, she set up a standalone preschool by the name of Sishubon. She was 24 years young then and a complete layperson when it came to her edupreneurial venture as she is a first-gen entrepreneur and had no mentor nor a support system. She faced many challenges in her journey but these hurdles only gave her an impetus to go on. In 2013, after two years of dedicated research and planning, Dr. Vasavvi launched Inner I Foundation Pvt. Ltd. and simultaneouslyTender Petals preschool chain. In the consecutive years, IIFPL launched other verticles-the Tender Day Cares, Early Childhood Educators Training Program, Dream Catchers ~a skill development initiative for adolescents, ReevEd Solutions an education consultancy for aspiring edupreneurs, and My Preschool at home (home-schooling).
Tender Petals Preschool Chain has its presence in different parts of the country with successfully running centres. IIFPL’s Early Childhood Educators Training Program has empowered a multitudeof educators to teach children in their early years. Tender Daycare, is a second home for children of working parents and Dream Catchers workshops and seminarshave trained adolescents in different skill sets (21st century) needed to be ‘Future Ready.’ My Preschool at Home, is a home-schooling solution for preschoolers.
Her edupreneurial journey isan inspiring story for many, enabling a lot of men and women alike, to start their own edupreneurial ventures and plunge into their entrepreneurial journey.Dr. Vasavvi has made it possible for them to maketheir dreams come true. Every year a number of peopleget associated with IIFPL andhave grown into a strong vibrant group of motivated edupreneurs and education leaders.
Philanthropy and Community Leadership
Dr. Vasavvi believes that "Life is not only about procuring, but it is also equally about giving back to the society." In all these years she has worked towards the empowerment of Children and Women from the disadvantaged sections of the society and has played the role of a mentor and hand holder for many.
She is actively associated with NGO’sand Organizations working with children and conducts voluntary workshops with them. Through her initiative,DN Acharya Foundation for Children and Women Welfare, Dr. Vasavvi along with her team members, has conducted several skill-basedworkshops with children from the economically weaker sections of the society. Early Child Development Forum (ECDF) aninitiative of the DN Acharya Foundation, endeavours to bring a quantum change in the Early Childhood learning pedagogy, by bringing in the innovation and best practices in ECE and enabling the stakeholders to work towards this goal. ECDF has been doing quantum work through its various programs.ECDF also aspires to provide early childhood education and care to children from the socially andeconomically disadvantaged sections of society.Her dream project Nava Uday, SishuSiksha Vikash Abhiyan, Spreading the Light of Knowledge, was launched in Nov 2020 to provide basic education facilities to children from the rural and backward areas. DNA Foundation also works towards empowering women and has mentored many women entrepreneurs in the NE Region of India.

Dr. Vasavvi’s passion for early childhood education and writing inspired her to write her maidenbook THE FIRST 5 YEARS ~Demystifying the crucial period of parenting, which is widely read by young parents and ECE enthusiasts.
Editor
Dr. Vasavvi took the initiative to start an education journal for early childhood educators and ECE enthusiasts in 2018. Since then she donned the hat of CEO and Editor, ED CLAN Empowering Educators, Nurturing Young Minds~ a quarterlyeducation journal published byECDF and DN Acharya Foundation for Children and Women Welfare which has a 10,000 plus global readership.

2016:Dr. Vasavi Acharya received the ‘Women Leadership Achievement Award’, conferred by World Women Leadership Congress and Awards, at Taj Lands End, Bandra Mumbai in 2016. 2018:She was conferred ‘The Exceptional Women Of Excellence Award’ by ALL LADIES LEAGUE and WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM in February 2018, for her contribution in the domain of early childhood education
2020: She received Kingmaker Leadership Award in recognition of the Early Child Development Forum initiative, by the Kingmaker Group, National Sahitya Academy, supported by Prakriti Suraksha Parishad and IIEM in January 2020, for her remarkable contribution to the upliftment of the downtrodden people of Assam/ North East India

Mr. Debajit Bora,, a real estate developer by profession has made transition into the domain of education, to enable children get quality education in their early childhood years.
Mr. Debajit Bora is a builder of repute and has many landmark complexes in Guwahati to his credit. He is the Director of Magnum Builders. Presently he is holding the post of Joint Secretary AREIDA (Assam Real Estate and Infrastructure Developers’ Association), Guwahati. Mr. Bora is the Treasurer of Debendra Nath Acharya Memorial Trust and has been involved in social work for the past many years.
He is also involved with many social organizations that work for the welfare of street children, women and the economically weak section of the society.
