Toddler is a common term that we use for a child who is learning to walk. In this period a child learns to interact socially and develop socio-emotional, language and motor skills. This stage introduces them to the world around them and they start interacting with people they meet. Children make enormous cognitive leaps, and those developing abilities provide the impetus for exploration in all areas of their lives. Preschoolers at Tender Petals are given the freedom to explore and experiment with adults who answer their questions and as a result tend to develop initiative to learn and explore the endless possibilities.
