I started my unique journey with Tender Petals in August 2015. Working in a preschool with little children has been the best experience of my life. Tender Petals is a very unique school with a well balanced academic curriculum which helps the children to boost their knowledge, as well as develop their social and emotional skills. At Tender Petals, I have learnt the importance of providing a safe and enriched environment, which is essential for learning to take place at such a young age. Under the guidance of our Managing Director, Mrs. Vasavi Acharya, I have striven to achieve the holistic development of each and every child; focusing not just on the core academics but also at their social, physical, mental and emotional development. Throughout the year, we have put in efforts to make the students aware about the cultures and traditions of our nation by celebrating various festivals and events with them. According to us, every child is an individual with his or her own strengths and needs, and we give proper emphasis to this by handing each child with love and care. I would like to congratulate all the outgoing students of our Outal Centre, Guwahati for their excellent performance in the entrance examinations into formal schools. I feel very proud to announce that many of our students have got admissions in reputed schools of Guwahati such as Don Bosco, Gurukul Grammar School, Faculty School, Maria Public School etc. I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Managing Director, school facilitators, office staff, and caretakers for their constant support and guidance.

I had started working with Tender Petals in January 2014. During my last two years in this school, I have learnt many things. The Managing Director of our school, Mrs. Vasavi Acharya has been a very supportive mentor throughout my journey with Tender Petals. In this school, my staff members are very kind and helpful. All the guardians of the school are also very co-operative. During the academic session we had also organized many events such as Sports Day, Carnival, and Field Trips for the students, which allowed us to interact with them outside the classroom setting. Tender Petals is a school where we have learnt to express our creativity. Our pre-school has a great learning environment to complement the curriculum. The caretakers of our school are also helpful and very responsible towards their work. Last but not the least; I would like to congratulate all the outgoing students of our school. I am Jimi Gogoi presently working as an office assistant and class teacher of Budding Buds class at Jorhat Centre. Jorhat centre was inaugurated on 30th of November 2014. Before joining Tender Petals I didn’t have any experience in teaching pre-schoolers. Thanks to Lavita maam, who made everything easy for me. I have been working in the centre from the very beginning and we staff members work as a family. That’s why; working here is really enjoyable for me. I am very happy for this and I really thank Lavita maam for giving me this opportunity. From November 27th 2014 to 29th, Mrs. Vasavi Acharya maam had given training to us. This was a great learning experience for me. She had given us a lot of inputs, staring from school set up, imparting curriculum, preparation of charts, storytelling session etc. Vasavi maam is highly talented and a thoughtful lady. We had learned a lot under her guidance. I really enjoy working here with the small kids. There are many different types of teaching materials (apparatus) in our centre, which the children find very interesting. They like them very much. From my personal experience, I have to admit that all children has shown great improvement within this short span of time. The parents are very happy. Lastly, I would like to thank Vasavi maam and Lavita maam once again for their tremendous support and wish long life for Tender Petals.

I have been working with Tender Petals since the past one year and it has been a very wonderful experience for me.Here at Tender Petals the emphasis is always on making the interaction between the facilitator and the student a smooth, exciting and an educational one. There are quite a few reasons why this centre occupies a special place in my heart. The shy smiles that the students have on reaching the school, followed by their never ending enthusiasmare the things that draw me as a facilitator towards my students the same way a moth is irresistibly drawn to fire. In learning new things, their questions filled with curiosity about the unknown, the way they hug you warmly when pleased with their achievements, I could go on about the vey many ways the students enrich my life. I still remember the first student to my class, how shy she was on being the first one present in class, how she was not even able to speak properly beause she was nervous about meeting a new person. Then there was this time that I couldn’t go to school beacause of an emergency and the next day on reaching the school,I had tears in my eyes as my students came running to me asking why I hadn’t gone to school the previous day and said that I was missed badly the day before. It has been a privilege for me to have come to know so closely the Managing Director of Inner I Foundation Pvt. Ltd. parents company of the brand Tender Petals, Ms Vasavi Acharya. First impressions are supposed to be the best impressions, and truly so in Ms Acharyas case. For somebody to make you feel at home in her company comes very easily to her. It is the same dedication that I see in everything that maam does. And for Tender Petals to have reached to such great heights in such a short duration is truly commendable. With the kind of brilliant initiatives and policies that are in place, in conjuction with the very marvelous and industrious staff at Tender Petals,this is one organisation which is going to be known far and wide for the best preschoolers in town.

I have been working at Tender Petals for many years and presently I hold the post of Centre Head in the Zoo Narengi Road Centre, Guwahati. Throughout my time here, I’ve always felt incredibly supported by staff I have worked with. Tender Petals has given me so many opportunities both in terms of career development and personal enrichment. Getting to know the students has been a real highlight and helped me to become more involved in the life of the school. The school Head Office team is incredibly supportive and my career has greatly benefitted from being given the opportunity to attend different training programs, celebrating various festivals involving the students as well as the guardians. It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this special place, where I feel very lucky to work.
