MEGA PARENTING SUMMIT ORGANISED BY TENDER PETALS

Guwahati, 3rd April 2022

Tender Petals a preschool chain of NE India, successfully organised the first of its kind Mega Parenting Summit, on the 3rd of April 2022 at NEDFI Bhavan Guwahati with all the Tender Petals, Guwahati centres coming under one umbrella.

The Founder Managing Director of Tender Petals preschools, Dr.Vasavvi Acharjya planned to come up with this Summit for parents because she feels that “though we are natural parents but parenting one’s child in the right manner doesn’t come naturally. There is a lot one needs to know about effective parenting and early childhood, being the crucial years of a child’s life in terms of lifelong success and happiness, and so it is a must for every parent to be aware, informed and updated from time to time.”

The Summit was attended by 200+ parents from Guwahati and expert speakers who spoke about the most pertinent topics of today like-The importance of Socio-Emotional Learning, Understanding Child Psychology etc. The event was graced by Sri Partha Sarathi Mahanta, DIG (Assam Police), as the Chief Guest. The keynote speaker of this event was a renowned paediatrician and Director of Excel Healthcare Hospitals, Dr. Prakritish Bora, who spoke on the topic: Health in Early Years.

A session was conducted by Meenakshi Barthakur, Consultant Psychologist (MIND India, Royal Global School, NLU) on the topic-Understanding Child Psychology.Dr.VassaviAchariya addressed the parents on the topic Socio-Emotional Intelligence: Need of the Hour.Joutishman Dutta Managing Trustee, Assam down town University spoke on the topic,Raising 21st Century Children in a Digital World.

TheTENDER PETALS ANNUAL AWARDS 2021were announced and the Trophies were given to the Awardees in different categories. The upcoming centre of Tender Petals at Beltola was also announced.The parents who attended the Summit had a lot of takeaways and were very happy that an initiative to create awareness among parents was taken by the preschool brand.
